Be art happy is Barbara Foster's slogan and what she aims to convey through her art. Her paintings exude her colorful personality and brings a positive energy to any space. Foster's color palette is fresh and light, and her subject matter is inspired by the impressions of nature. She paints with different mediums such as watercolor, pastels, acrylic, sand and plaster. Her painting technique involves scraping and layering paint using random objects instead of traditional brushes. She has been painting for over 35 years. She grew up in Michigan and studied art at CCS-Center for Creative Studies-College of Art and Design in Detroit, MI after being awarded an art scholarship. Later, Barbara graduated with a Bachelor's in Management Information Systems-Administration at the University of Michigan pursued her art and her IT career simultaneously until she retired from technology and started her company,, which is her main focus and passion. Foster has been mentioned in a Forbes Magazine article, called 'How to Market Your Retirement Reinvention' by Henry DeVries. She was also featured in a MorningStar, Wall Street Journal and in a Forbes article by Robin Ryan called, '5 Ways to Avoid Becoming A Failed Retiree.'
